Our mission as Immanuel is to awaken spirituality and spread the Gospel; to truly love one another as Christ loves us; and to provide a viable institution to facilitate the worship of God.

Immanuel confesses that the Gospel, as recorded in the Holy Scriptures and confessed in the ecumenical creeds and Lutheran confessional writings, is the power of God to create and sustain the Church for God's mission in the world.

 Immanuel believes that the Church is a people created by God in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world.

Our mission is completed, with the grace of God, through worship, pastoral care, discipleship, education, witness, service, justice, financial stewardship, and fellowship.
