Kirk Higginson began his musical journey while still in high school as organist in a Catholic Parish. He attended Boise State University majoring in music theory. While at BSU, Mr. Higginson was the Assistant Organist and Children's Choir Director under Donald Oakes at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and has earned the Service Playing Certificate from the AGO. Mr. Higginson is also a member of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians. Mr. Higginson was also employed by Boise School District where he held positions in the Facilities and Operations Department. He retired as a budget manager after 39 years with Boise Schools in 2012.
